Capture modules
Technica EngineeringĀ“s new generation of hardware devices, the Capture Modules, feature important characteristics that differentiate them from regular Active Taps. The product family of the Capture Module IVN technologies offers five variants to cover different bandwidths of Automotive Ethernet (100BASE-T1 and 1000BASE-T1), as well as common IVN technologies (CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, LIN).
ILAS Sniffer
The CM ILaS Combo of Technica Engineering is a logging device used to capture and timestamp ILaS (ISELED Light and Sensor) network communication.
CM 10BASE - T1S
The CM 10BASE-T1S of Technica Engineering is a logging device used to capture and timestamp 10BASE-T1S communication.
CM SerDes
The CM SerDes of Technica Engineering is a logging device for the GMSL 2/3 technology. It is used to capture and timestamp SerDes communication, which is needed to log the communication data of modern camera systems (sensors and/or ECUs).
CM MultiGigabit
The CM MultiGigabit from Technica Engineering is a logging device for Automotive Ethernet with speed grades up to 10Gbit/s (10GBASE-T1), which are enabled through new PHY technology.
CM 1000 HIGH H-MTD
The CM 1000 High H-MTD is an active tap device that is used to capture the traffic with 6 ports and up to 6 point-to-point 100/1000BASE-T1 connections (12 ports in total).
CM 1000 HIGH MATEnet
The CM 1000 High MATEnet is an active tap device that is used to capture the traffic with 6 ports and up to 6 point-to-point 100/1000BASE-T1 connections (12 ports in total). The traffic is captured without causing interference on the network and delivered with a 40 ns resolution hardware time stamp, allowing for AVB/TSN traffic analysis. With a traffic shaping feature included, the logged output of many bus channels is steadily transferred to a data logger or test PC, eliminating bursts that might lead to a loss of data.
CM 100 HIGH
The CM 100 High is an active tap device that is used to capture the 100Base-T1 traffic of up to 6 point-to-point 100BASE-T1 connections (12 ports in total). The traffic is captured without causing interference on the network and delivered with a 40 ns resolution hardware time stamp, allowing for analysis of AVB/TSN traffic. With a traffic shaping feature included, the logged output of multiple bus channels is steadily transferred to a data logger or test PC, eliminating bursts that might lead to a loss of data.
CM Ethernet Combo
The CM Ethernet Combo is an active tap that can be used to capture the traffic from 1 x 1000BASE-T1 line (between two DUTs) and 2 x 100BASE-T1 (between four DUTs) lines correspondingly.
CM CAN Combo
The CM CAN Combo is an active tap device that is used to capture traffic from conventional CAN buses, as well as CAN-FD, FlexRay, and RS-232. The traffic is captured without causing interference on the network and is delivered with a 40 ns resolution hardware time stamp.
CM LIN Combo
The CM LIN Combo is an active tap device that can be used to capture the traffic from the conventional LIN busses, as well as differential and grounded analog signals. The data traffic is captured without causing interference on the network and delivered with a 40 ns resolution hardware time stamp for the analysis of AVB/TSN traffic.
